Work permit holders: short studies without a study permit
On September 9, IRCC announced a temporary measure for eligible holders of valid work permits: courses or programs of six months or less without a study permit.
The exemption lasts until the work permit expires or the policy ends, whichever is earlier. The policy is scheduled to expire on December 31, 2027 and may be revoked earlier. Other requirements still apply.
