Provincial and federal IRCC requirements may differ. Check the rules for your stream and your application document checklist.
MPNP permits a certified translator or another person with the necessary skills, subject to restrictions on relatives and representatives. A translator’s affidavit sworn before an authorized person is required; provide a notarized photocopy of the original as specified in the checklist.

If none is available for your language, another translator requires notarization and a letter documenting your search. Applying from outside Ontario: another translator with notarization is permitted. Ontario-based services must use ATIO translators. OINP may require an unacceptable notarized translation to be redone by an ATIO translator.

Before you pay anyone
For many IRCC applications, an apostille is not part of the translation package. The exact requirements depend on the program and your document checklist, so confirm the destination before paying for one.
If a Ukrainian document does need an apostille, we arrange it in Ukraine together with the translation. Apostilles on Canadian documents are issued by the competent provincial authorities or Global Affairs Canada; we do not issue them.

No. We are not certified translators and do not claim to be. For Express Entry, IRCC asks for a translation stamped by a certified translator with a membership number. Only if a certified translator cannot complete it may the translation instead be accompanied by the translator's affidavit. In Canada, the oath may be taken before a notary public, commissioner of oaths or commissioner of taking affidavits; outside Canada, before a notary public or equivalent. For Express Entry, a complete translation with the translator's affidavit may be used only if a certified translator cannot complete the translation. Requirements differ by program and by your personalized document checklist. We check the applicable instructions before confirming an order; no provider can guarantee an immigration decision.
They are two separate services. Our stamp confirms the translation is complete and accurate — 25 CAD per document. The notary certifies the translator’s signature — 20 CAD for each document. Some authorities ask for both, so we price them separately.
Check the requirements of the receiving authority and your application checklist. An apostille and a translation serve different purposes; neither automatically replaces the other. We arrange apostilles on Ukrainian documents when needed. Apostilles on Canadian documents are issued by the competent provincial authorities or Global Affairs Canada, not by us.
